Courtney Knights provides fundraising support to a variety of presidential and provostial priorities at Columbia, including Columbia Global Reports and the Data Science Institute. Courtney was CGR's inaugural Director of Development.

Prior to joining Columbia, Courtney worked in fundraising and event planning for leading cultural institutions, including Public Art Fund and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. She received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and art history from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her master’s degree in art business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Courtney is an avid runner and serves as a mentor for the Earl Woods Scholars program at the TGR Foundation.
